Built to match the exam format

Each mock exam draws 40 questions with the same weighting as the official exam: 11 on the principles and values of the Republic, 6 on institutions, 11 on rights and duties, 8 on history, geography and culture and 4 on living in French society. Twelve of the 40 are scenario questions, six from principles and values and six from rights and duties, in line with the decree of 10 October 2025.

A new set is drawn each time, so repeating the mock exam does not mean repeating the same paper. If a topic does not have enough questions for your level, the gap is filled from other topics so you always get 40.

Practising under time pressure

A visible countdown starts at 45:00. When it reaches zero the exam is submitted automatically with the answers you have given, which is exactly how the pressure feels on the day. Practising this way teaches pacing: about a minute per question, with a little spare to check the scenarios.

The result screen shows your percentage, the number correct out of 40 and whether you passed. Below that, a score by topic shows where you lost points, so your next practice session has a clear target.

How to use mock exams well

  1. Learn the topics firstDo a few practice sessions so the mock exam measures what you know rather than what you have never seen.
  2. Start the mock exam in one sittingFind 45 quiet minutes. The timer runs until you submit or it ends.
  3. Read your topic breakdownNote which topics fell below 80%.
  4. Go back to practice and retakeRevise the weak topics, then take another mock exam and compare.
